Dominic has been in the Information Technology field for over 24 years. Starting out in the healthcare sector with a short internship, he ultimately spent 8 years working with the challenges that come with HIPAA compliance in medical technology and software, while servicing an enterprise network with the largest healthcare provider on the west coast in Los Angeles, California. After that time, he found himself wanting to find new challenges in an emerging new technical hub. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2008 and began acting more in an engineering capacity. Being part of two of the largest privately funded construction projects in the country was extremely demanding. The first being the City Center project's technical network deployment and the second being the buildout of the nation's first 4G mobile network in 2010.

He's also accepted projects at Las Vegas' own Switch SuperNAP, currently one of the largest data centers in the world to service cloud infrastructure clients, rack and stack equipment, network discovery, virtualization, and servicing the maintenance window. Shortly thereafter he was invited to assist in building Sprint's TD LTE 4G network after the company's merger with Softbank. Mr. Allen has been asked for by name to service other strip hotel properties with issues like restructuring wi-fi networks, VoIP deployments, and switch configurations. Having worked with multiple Fortune 500’s as well as a plethora of third party software that was company specific, he became well versed in intricate and complicated networks and what's needed to keep them running at optimum level. Dominic has even been contacted by wall street investment firms to discuss his vast mobile networking knowledge with some of their high profile venture capital clients. Other notable engagements would be migrating sensitive government data from a myriad of at-risk agencies and publishing the book “Crypto Four Eleven” (available on Amazon) that instructs those new to digital assets, how to buy and sell safely and securely as well as what to watch out for in this new digital frontier.

When working with so many organizations, large and small, he's seen the hurdles and challenges that come from one company having to deal with multiple carriers & vendors simultaneously, while also attempting to find providers who can actually deliver what they promise. In 2013 Dominic decided he wanted to impact technical change on a much larger scale to address these issues and so began the process of building what he believes is the greatest tech buying experience available.

Gilded Pendulum began as a simple idea to better help navigate businesses through the choppy waters of carrier and vendor selection back in 2013. However in the last 3 years we’ve turned into a powerhouse solutions provider with an arsenal of around 200 partners and some of the greatest engineers on the planet to bring high level innovation and cutting edge technology to the business community at large. Great efforts were made to build the company for the clients, not the carriers, and we have held fast to that ideology since day one while consistently offering a premium level of service with every engagement we partake. With literally thousands of carriers, vendors, and providers now existent in the marketplace, 80% of companies now require using a master agent to procure IT services. It has become a mandatory expense to reach their true potential for telecommunication and productivity, which is why we remain on the bleeding edge of business tech daily.
